New Article and New level of membership
Site NewsI have added another article. This article is about QOS in Mikrotik. It can be found HERE. In order to view this page, I will have had to add you to the group that have previously attended one of my training seminars. I can only identify a FEW people based on the usernames, so if you are a past attendee, and still cannot view this page, please let me know and I will get you added. All I need is your login for this site as well as which class you attended. I have added a couple of FORUMS as well, that can only be viewed by past attendees.

Newsletter Subscriptions
Site NewsIf you have not already subscribed to the newsletter, why not take the time now to do so. I use the newsletter to send out updates for various things, including site updates (new articles or downloads and such), updates for the forums among other things. I will NOT use this function to "spam" you, though if there is something that I believe you will really find interesting, I may send it out via the newsletter.

To subscribe, simply click the "subscribe" button on the right side of your browser window. Unsubscribing is just as easy (you'll figure that out) ;-). Either way, if you have not signed up as a member of the website, you will not be able to subscribe, so be sure to do that and log onto the site to subscribe today!

Back home
Personal NewsWell, I forgot to post the news that I am back in town. :-) The trip to Louisiana was a lot of fun and was a success. My family and I went down to Mac's place with several items and got a chance to meet some of the evacuees as well as those that were running the shelter.

We delivered 700 pounds of rice, which was donated by Martin Rice of Parma, MO. Mike Martin had agreed to donate up to 2000 pounds of rice, but my van just wouldn't handle that much. :-( I wish I could have carried more, as the 700 pounds just didn't go very far. We had about 75 teddy bears for the kids, of which, we donated 50 and 25 were collected from various sources. The local Nazarene church here in Malden donated several emergency kits (including soap, towels, band-aids and such).

There are several pictures in the photo album of the people we visited. The rice went to 6 shelters in the local area. What a blessing this trip was!

Heading to Louisiana
Personal NewsI will be leaving Malden tomorrow (9/3/05) do deliver some supplies to the victims of Katrina. I will be meeting with Mac Dearman of inetsouth.com in north east Louisiana. Mac has donated a lot of his time and money to the efforts in his local area. I hope these supplies will be helpful to the local churches who are struggling trying to keep enough food for the people to eat. (I will have 800 pounds of rice with me).

WISP-Training is ONLINE!
WISP-TrainingThe WISP-Training website is online at http://www.wisp-training.com/. We still have almost zero content up there, but that is coming. If you have not visited that site, yet, then take a look now. If you have attended one of the Mikrotik training classes, then please register on the website and be sure to let us know who you are, so that we can get you added to the past attendees group. This will give you access to some forums that are not available to the general public.
